Fighting for safe & secure use of Stoke Lodge playing fields for Cotham School pupils from 35+ wards across Bristol, after 12yrs obstruction by local lobbyists
BCC has now officially removed Stoke Lodge (VG29) from the BCC commons register.
@StokeLodgeVG should now be renamed or deleted @WlStoke_Lodge won’t be supported by BCC if they appeal this as it looks like BCC have completely accepted the judgement and complied with the order!
With our Stoke Lodge playing field back, we can once again share it with Bristol schools and clubs! We're also excited the PM, in a meeting with the Lionesses, announced a new PE and sport plan to ensure all young people have equal access to quality activities.
@WlStoke_Lodge
How many times have @WlStoke_Lodge lost now? Public inquiry - lost, JR - lost inspector - lost, section 14 - lost. Jeez people, accept you lost and move on, try working WITH the school rather than against them.

Dec 2018 we made this. Huge 🙏 to all who stood up for a state school’s right to use their own playing field without harassment. Proud to have played our part documenting many attempts to undermine @CothamSchool & to be vindicated in Inspector’s Report
Clear recommendation from Commons Registration Authority for PROWG committee members (who should act quasi-judicially) to reject TVG:
