I wanted to check in with everyone since it's been a while! Unfortunately, the latest status of my sister's case hasn't changed. I hope when a new DA comes in I can talk to them to see if they're willing to do the right thing and bring charges. My sister's death certificate was changed to show cause of death homicide due to assault, yet nothing is being done. The DA does not care and refuses to help. Maybe one day I can say the words my family has wanted to say for 17 years......he was arrested.
