Angry over phone use, mother strangles daughter to death

Hyderabad,

The victim was 14-year-old Suvarna/Suvarcala (a Class 9 student).

The mother is Muyyadi Vijayalakshmi (34 years old), a resident of Hanuman Temple Colony, Kothur (Shadnagar Zone, Rangareddy district). Her husband is auto driver Muyyadi Raju. They have three children.

There were frequent arguments over the daughter’s mobile phone use and her not listening to her mother. Another fight broke out on 27 October.

In a fit of anger, the mother throttled her daughter’s neck and killed her. After that, to make the death look like suicide, she tied a cloth/saree around the girl’s neck and called her husband to claim it was suicide.

Initially, it was treated as a suicide, but the post-mortem revealed signs of “throttling + hanging” (strangulation + hanging).

Indian women are no longer worthy of being called mothers.
Just a few days ago, a mother hacked her two sons to death with an axe because they were coming in the way of her illicit relationship.
Around the same time, another incident occurred where a 2.5-year-old innocent daughter was thrown from the 5th floor because her mother wanted to marry her lover.
