Here’s a not so fun read about some of the stupidity I tolerate in my older life…. That academics and medical professionals have gone anywhere near false doctrines of transgenderism is staggering…. This is in my climate change and COVID genocide by vaccine category box…

On 1 August student accommodation allowances jumped from 3,900 to 5,850 kwacha. On 4 August the President ordered 16,000 households connected to the grid and undertook to pay their fees himself. Nine days before the poll.

SADC observers recorded that at some polling stations the voter’s national registration number was written against or upon the ballot paper issued to that voter. The mission then added that it makes no finding as to the purpose of that practice.
No finding as to the purpose. A regional body watched a secret ballot being issued like a cloakroom ticket, in a country where people have long memories about voting the wrong way, and declined to speculate.

Hakainde Hichilema polled 2,965,326 votes. In 2021 he polled 2,810,757. Between those two elections Zambia's register grew by more than 1.7 million names, and the President added roughly 150,000 votes to his tally.
Turnout fell from over 70 per cent to about 56.
The landslide was not built on enthusiasm. It was built on absence, and almost nobody has reported that number.
