Child sexual abuse survivors don't just know how to keep a secret — they were groomed to believe secrecy was essential to their survival. #ItStartsWithYou#MeToo https://t.co/sQfyDwdUtL
Let us see what can be done to end these injustices, to see what can be done for #Congo. Congolese, you have people from #Kenya, #Ghana, #USA standing with you. Congo will be restored.

Solidarité ! Non aux violences conjugales faites aux femmes ! Non à leur impunité ! Bravo cher(e)s compatriotes pour cette courageuse initiative. #BalanceTonKuluna https://t.co/3qcgo0RO5f
This account was formed because my school had assigned an activism project that was required. But after educating myself on the issue that I was assigned I want to still help the victims affected by sexual assault in the DRC! I will continue helping them in the fight for justice!
Join us on Thursday in #DenHaag: At a panel discussion we want to discuss the creation of a mechanism which could award #reparations to #sexualviolence victims independent from the formal justice. system.https://t.co/q2k4RweWE3
Everyday over 1,000 people are raped in the DRC. That is an atrocity! Make a difference and donate today to @PanziUSA and @MukwegeFound who are trying to prevent the unjust actions on display in the DRC.
40%. That's the percentage of women in the DRC who have experienced rape or some form of sexual assault in their lifetime. This is in a country with more than 70 million people. Something needs to be done to help!
Some more statistics... truly sickening. We need to as humans realize as a collective race that the events going on in the DRC are atrocious and need to stop.
This is not a one gender issue. 10% of all rape cases reported this year in the DRC have had male victims. They often have a hard time living a normal life after being raped to, as many people of the DRC will say that the men are homosexual despite them having no control over it.
