A recently discovered painting shows 200 years ago it was actually our founder, Sir Peter Musson, who collected the ball in his arms at the Rugby School and ran with it. William Webb Ellis, running in support, caught Sir Peter’s offload and scored the world’s first try.

The Community Visits program is an amazing way for world-class rugby players to connect with local students, and we’re so excited to accompany several teams next week as the visits return to Vancouver schools to join them in introducing our youth to the beautiful sport of rugby.
