Just in: The Detroit Pistons are trading C/F Isaiah Stewart to the Memphis Grizzlies for three future second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. Pistons clear Stewart's salary and pick up assets while Grizzlies acquire a 25-year-old as a rugged frontcourt piece.
2027 Team Thad 6’0” G Justin Frison out of Houston HS (Memphis, TN) had a dominant EYBL session in Memphis.
15.5 PPG | 9.5 AST | 6.5 REB | 2.9 STL | 52.5% FG | 50% 3PT (10-20)
Frison is now hearing from these schools, his agency @SportsNetLLC tells me:
Creighton
UAB
Wichita State
West Virginia
Xavier
Ole Miss
Nebraska
Murray State
Miami Ohio
Belmont
I was most impressed with how Frison controlled the game this weekend. Sets up his teammates extremely well (EYBL leader in ASTs) and is pesky on the defensive end (EYBL leader in STLs). Doesn’t matter if he has the ball in his hands or not, Frison is a net positive on the court.
Expecting his recruitment to blow up this summer. MM+/HM- schools should be all over him. @JustinF_2027
Kentucky’s Mark Pope, Arkansas’ John Calipari, Purdue’s Matt Painter, Michigan’s Dusty May, Miami’s Jai Lucas, Alabama’s Nate Oats, BYU’s Kevin Young, West Virginia’s Ross Hodge, Villanova’s Kevin Willard, Nebraska’s Fred Hoiberg, Iowa State’s TJ Otzelberger, Iowa’s Ben McCollum, Maryland’s Buzz Williams, NC State’s Justin Gainey, and Seton Hall’s Shaheen Holloway were among the many head coaches at EYBL Memphis on day one of the live period.
Which top recruits did they watch? 👀

These two Class of 2027 prospects in Memphis are high-major talents. Dylan Jones had a great weekend, showing his ability as a small forward. Justin Frison showed that he is more than just a scorer. Frison is Top 5 in steals and assists in the Nike EYBL. Both have offers from the University of Memphis. @GoTigers247@Memphis_MBB
BREAKING: On3’s @JamieShaw5 has logged an expert prediction for 5’10 PG Jayden Reid ✍️
Northwestern ➡️ Memphis
The #195 overall transfer averaged 10 PPG & 5 APG, shooting 40% FG and 37% 3PT over his career in 26 min/game. Former USF transfer.

@ohokvontae I wouldn’t take DP over some of the other guys I would have earlier this season. I place him behind AJ, Wilson, Acuff, and Boozer. After that him I probably take him ahead of the rest. Kingston Fleming could be a star as well.
@ohokvontae I may be biased towards AJ and DP because I officiated both last Spring in the Bay Area. I believe that this is a historic class similar to 96 and guys like AJ, DP, Wilson, Boozer, Acuff, AJ, Cenac, Kingston each have a chance to stars. There are more stars outside of this list
