@Am_TheCoolGuy @BBCSport I agree that CSA have problems regarding the way cricket in SA is run. Looking at the make up of the Board (who appointed Smith) I find it strange that SAC finds itself in this mess.
As far as autobiographies go, reading what someone who has been there has to say is invaluable.

@EdF1920 @BBCSport In SA rugby it starts at the school / provincial level so that when the players get to international level they are the best in their respective positions. Why that cannot be replicated in cricket is a mystery.

@EdF1920 @BBCSport The quota system works in rugby because its a team sport. Yes cricket is a team sport too, but then again, not really. As a batmen or bowler you'll be found out very quickly if you're underperforming. Im not against quotas as such but at test level the best players should compete

At Test level players don't need coaching. If they do, they dont belong at that level. I'd rather have someone whose been there and done it all than a guy who has all the "badges"

@EdF1920 @BBCSport Yip, agree 100%. Unfortunately SA cricket has been in a downward spiral for a while now. I liken it to the years just before Rassie took over SA Rugby.
Maybe he can be persuaded to give cricket a go while serving his ban 🤔😄
