@flossyy14@spurs_muse No one in Oklahoma is worried about or hating on the Knicks right now. We’re saving that for the finals. Your post was just ridiculous and now you’re catching some flak.
@spurs_muse If obi toppin and Tyrese Haliburton took the thunder to 7 games im sure Jalen Brunson, Kat, og, Mikal and Josh hart can do the same yall motherfuckers don’t know ball
@flossyy14@spurs_muse The Knicks look good this postseason, but comparing last years Thunder to this years Knicks, while simultaneously talking about how y’all are different from last year is just laughable
@sejver4@NBA__Courtside He’s 2nd in blocks and steals for the best defensive team in the league. Jokic leads a team that is 21st in defensive rating in deflections and rebounds… 😅
@sejver4@NBA__Courtside Shai is second in both steals and blocks for the Thunder, and averages more deflections per game than Jokic. He also averages the same amount of blocks as a 7’ center.
@SteveThunderfan If Wemby plays tonight to get to the 65 game minimum, then I think there’s a good chance that the Spurs sit all their starters against the Nuggets. Even though they have the “toughest” remaining games, Denver probably has the easiest path to hold onto the 3.
@Anderson5678198@VicLombardi@nuggets I expect OKC to sell hard, but maybe Denver doesn’t want to win for the same reason. They’re going to face the Thunder or the Spurs in the second round either way.
@Anderson5678198@VicLombardi@nuggets The Thunder are for sure going to try and lose.
If Denver and the Spurs play in the 2nd round then the Thunder get to face a team in the WCF that just went to war.
@Anderson5678198@VicLombardi@nuggets OKC is going to punt on Friday against Denver, so unless the lakers can win out, Denver will be the 3 seed.
They have the tiebreaker against Houston.
@tobi03_cavs@LegionHoops I just think that Shai has led a 4-5 seed quality team (when you account for all the injuries), and still made them the best team in the league. This nonsense about pushing Wemby because the Spurs are closing the gap on the Thunder is flippant.
@tobi03_cavs@LegionHoops I don’t disagree that too much weight has been put on the standings, but it’s still a big aspect. Shai wasn’t necessarily better than Jokic last year, but the win differential was hard to overlook. The Mavs were only 7 games behind, so imo he was deserving in ‘24.
@tobi03_cavs@LegionHoops The thing that voters should be looking at it is that Shai has led the Thunder to the best record in the league despite having the second most missed games due to injury.
@Skiled593198@Dustin_S03@SwipaCam He’s saying that he’s tied with Shai in clutch points despite playing in more games, and the nuggets are barely above .500 in those games. What about that doesn’t make sense?
