As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, I spoke about our libertarian heritage, the Constitution under assault, and how we must seize this moment.
This is absurd. Every piece of voter data Trump mentions here, as well as which elections each voter voted in, is readily available in Kentucky for a small fee.
This is not how it works. The War Powers Resolution doesn’t give the president a “free” 60 days—and the Constitution certainly doesn’t either.
Regardless, we’re talking about a single war. You don’t get to pause it and then pretend it’s a different war.
NEW: President Trump formally notified lawmakers this weekend that the nation is once again at war with Iran, giving his administration another 60-day clock to use the military in the region without congressional approval.

In 2013, he introduced the Amash-Conyers amendment, the vote that nearly defunded the NSA's bulk data collection program. It failed by twelve votes, but he kept fighting anyway.
He helped build the House Liberty Caucus and the House Freedom Caucus in 2015.
As a member of the Fourth Amendment Caucus, he fought warrantless surveillance, indefinite detention, civil asset forfeiture, and qualified immunity from inside Congress for ten years.
He's coming to Xavier University in Cincinnati this July to show the next generation of liberty students exactly what it looks like to hold the line when the institution around you won't.

Forty-seven members of Congress skipped the vote on the KIDS Act, which establishes the infrastructure for mass surveillance of Americans online.
This bill needed a two-thirds majority to pass, so just 17 more no votes could have sunk it!
A couple members might have a legit excuse, but 47? No way. They bailed to avoid going on the record, even at the cost of furthering the surveillance state.
Our government is run by people who are malevolent, totally clueless, or both.
No rational person who understands what they’re doing wants this.
They’re bragging about a backdoor digital ID and monitoring both kids and adults online!
PASSED: the KIDS Act requires age verification on obscene websites, sets nationwide standards enforced by the FTC, and empowers parents, while letting states pass even stronger child protections.

Here’s the roll call of members of Congress who betrayed the Constitution and the American people by voting yes on the KIDS Act.
The sickest part is that these people used “protecting kids” as an excuse to further insert government between parents and their children—all while establishing a surveillance infrastructure to monitor and control Americans of all ages.
Any member of Congress who votes yes today on the KIDS Act—empowering the government at parents’ expense and turning every American into a surveillance target—should be removed from office.
