@MCB_johnverburg Well using that logic then Josh Reynolds should’ve brushed his teeth for 15 seconds more today. If he does then, then something else would’ve happened and then something else would’ve happened and then maybe he wouldn’t have dropped those passes lmao.
Dan Campbell’s aggressive play calling and unwavering belief in his team is why they’re here. Have no problem with the fourth-down decisions. Have a problem with Reynolds’ two massive drops, the missed INT, fumble, touchback mishap and allowing 27 unanswered points allowed.
@MCB_johnverburg Even if he makes both, I still can’t get behind this idea that going for it on fourth down twice had more of an impact on the Lions losing than Reynolds’ first and second drop, Vildor’s missed INT and Gibbs’ fumble.
@MCB_johnverburg He is 4-4 on the year. Long is 41. He is 42-61 in his career on FGs 40 yards or more. The two 4th-down attempts would’ve been 46/47 yards. His career stats, the fact that he was a FA and hadn’t kicked a FG longer than 41 all year is pretty indicative he is anything but reliable.
@MCB_johnverburg If you have a reliable kicker who isn’t wildly inconsistent and a liability then sure? But no…going for it twice on fourth down does not = 27 unanswered points.
