We took Graham Gouldman from 10cc to his first ever cricket match almost 50 years after co writing ‘Dreadlock Holiday’.

Special day. Special story.
Huge thanks to Luton and the EFL for helping to get hero Aubaid there as a special guest to see young Kayden walk the team out at Wembley xxx https://t.co/FzWr9SNina
Coldplay Go Orange for Luton was named radio times moment of the year.
I said to my wife can you think of anything I should be doing for the Wembley gigs. She said what about playing ‘A Spy Full of Mars’. Private detectives eating as many mars bars as they can in one minute 😂 😂
Listener Pat (in the hat) is a legend.
Pat sadly only has weeks to live.
We’ve taken his dementia choir to the Marshall studios in MK to record a song.
That song will be played at Pats wake which he will be going to.
He said if there’s a party about me I want to be there x
What happened yesterday was on my to do list for a long time. We loved taking Graham to his first cricket match.
Next… Taking Chesney Hawkes to the Flamstead scarecrow festival to perform the one and only with the now rehabilitated Hawk in attendance x https://t.co/yolexgndE4
@rwjc22 We couldn’t take him and not get him on the biggest cricket show around. I’m playing a lovely report in full this Saturday on the show. It has a steel band, a special red button and Phil Tufnell talking to Graham as well. Top day
Graham Gouldman from the band 10CC wrote the classic Dreadlock Holiday with the famous line I don’t like cricket I love it.
He told me in an interview he had never been to a cricket match.
We had to put that right.
Today we’ve taken him to his first ever game at the oval x
Great night at the Arias Awards aka The Radio Oscars.
Gold for BBC Three Counties Radio for moment of the year.
