Most teams nail onboarding, then drop the ball at checkout.
Payment UX is unglamorous, often owned by nobody and that's exactly why getting it right is a competitive edge.
Great read on why it matters 👇

PopMart’s “Labubu” craze isn’t just about cute toys — it’s a blueprint for behavioral https://t.co/Cd0vdgNY7i’s what UX and product folks can learn from it 🧠👇
https://t.co/sCfNA3IDNM
1️⃣ They turned buying into playing.
The blind box model taps into variable reward psychology — the same loop as slot machines, but with guaranteed joy.
2️⃣ They built IP fandom, not just product sales.
People don’t collect toys — they collect identity.
3️⃣ But here’s the risk: when the dopamine fades, so does loyalty.
Gamification without emotional grounding = short shelf life.
4️⃣ PopMart’s pivot to film, fashion, and theme parks shows the next evolution — from hype-driven growth to story-driven worlds.
✨ The real lesson: Don’t just design features.
Design feelings.

A fresh space, new energy, and endless opportunities to craft unforgettable experiences—for brands, people, and the moments that truly matter.
Using tech, AI, visual design, and heart, I design with purpose: creating connections that inspire and memories that last.
Through design thinking, I dig deep: 👁 Empathy drives understanding. 🧠 Ideation sparks solutions. 💻 Tech + prototypes bring ideas to life. 📊 Strategy ensures every detail aligns.
Here’s to transforming ideas into impact. Let’s design the future together! 💡

I am always inclined for accessibility by displaying the labels because the icons may not be enough. So I normally would go with A from my own personal design view. Even though B is good from a visual perspective. But maybe the icon includes the label when you have it selected? At least when the user navigates to that section, they will learn what it is? But great work either way.
@Abmankendrick@iamAbiodunAA@Daviowhite@its_YOGO Great work. And love the social validation. For me both solution work and both does the function intended. So maybe it’s not which is better but which one performs better in production. So maybe implement a A/B testing and see how they perform.
Day 002: Create a credit card checkout experience ✅
I wanted to give this design a little different spin and thought of an API experience and did a component of payments for merchants.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the design 🥰

Netflix recently released Blue Eye Samurai. The quote that stuck with me is "Each morning I start a fire, and begin again".
So even though today could be a hard day and you may have failed, learn from what you can and apply it to tomorrow.
