Nice start for David Sandlin in his return to the majors. His 2nd career QS and he made quick work of the Royals after getting an early lead. It’d be nice to see him stay in the rotation. #WhiteSox
Sean Keys getting the call is well deserved since he’s having a real breakout season in the minors
Wonder if there’s an IL stint coming for someone since Vlad and Okamoto are locked in starters at the spots Keys would play. Guess we’ll see

So the Tigers just pinch hit for one of their better hitters recently (Kerry Carpenter) in the 4th inning of a 1-0 game, and then removed the pinch hitter the next inning so they can play the rest of the game with a hitter currently batting .151 (Outman).
Bad managing 101 #DNMW
Robbie Ray threw a gem in relief, but it didn’t count for most fantasy baseball teams. Sadly you had to have him in the lineup yesterday to get the stats for the surprise bulk outing today
Annoying, but nice to see a good bounceback outing for him
A 1-2-3 inning for Daniel Espino in his debut. Love to see it after so many injury setbacks. Hopefully he’s here to stay even if it’s as a reliever. He can be an elite one with his electric stuff. #GuardsBall
#WhiteSox calling up Braden Montgomery is fun. Enough playing time should be open for him so he’s an add in most leagues. Plenty of power upside. Would’ve been in the waiver article if they announced this yesterday
Cleveland #Guardians 21yr old switch-hitting OF prospect Jaison Chourio reached base 4x tonight (2-3 R 2B 3B RBI 2BB 2SB) collecting a pair of XBH for Akron in the team's win at Chesapeake.
Over 16 games at Double-A:
AVG .367
OBP .472
SLG .567
OPS 1.039

The Cardinals had Hunter Dobbins follow Leahy last night and he looked great again. Would love to see those two swap roles. Leahy has been better out of the pen anyway. Dobbins should be in the rotation #ForTheLou
I’m a huge Wilyer fan so this is interesting. Personally I think it’s a great sign despite the splits against righties. I think it’s more likely he’s made real adjustments against LHP that will stick, and he’ll adjust against RHP to bring those numbers up
Wilyer Abreu against lefties by year:
2024: .180 AVG | .532 OPS
2025: .230 AVG | .676 OPS
2026: .408 AVG | .991 OPS
Abreu has made MASSIVE strides against left-handers this season 💪
Pretty crazy to here this from an athlete today
Now I’m in the camp that there’s too much noise out there trying to be predictive, when metrics aren’t perfect. But you have to embrace analytics in general in order to improve nowadays. Guys who ignore them tend to struggle
"The game's evolving, man. It's definitely getting harder to play. It's definitely getting more strategic," Manny Machado said. "I just wish we can get the analytics out of the way. I think there's too many stats out there."
