If we want the SBC to reflect the beliefs of its actual membership we have to find a way for more messengers to participate. Requiring travel to one location is absurd in 2025. #sbc25

If your desire is for a major change in the sbc you should redirect all your energy to moving us to a regional/remote system of voting to increase participation. If you keep the same system, your gonna get the same results. #sbc25

@SatiricusRex I agree, they could, but the structure of the meeting is a barrier to it. Count me as one that wishes we would empower to majority of SBC churches to participate in decision making through a model that includes remote participation of some kind.

One of difficulties of winning a vote against "the platform" at the sbc is that the average messenger wants to meeting to move along.If you are the 4th person asking to overrule the chair you are probably gonna lose. Im not saying that is right,but it is the reality. #SBC25
