@thekyleyates Hey man. I feel this in my bones. I have a daughter who has a trach, and I’d recognize that feeding pump anywhere 😂 Appreciate your perspective!
@Home2Suites We always choose you because we have a disabled daughter who requires lots of medical equipment. But your desk staff is never very accommodating for trying to check in a little early so we can get my daughter out of the car. It’s always a disappointing for us.
@noCinErik I don’t know how you do it. Sure, you do what you gotta do. But I personally know how much it sucks. Evelyn is so blessed to have parents who are willing to do what you’ve done. All my respect to you and your endurance.
@noCinErik Funny enough, I had already been let go, so I didn’t have a job to quit (was a blessing looking back!). It happened 4 or 5 times during the 10 months she was in the hospital, and then a home nurse tried to kill her in our living room 😫 Glad Evelyn is improving!
@AskSynchrony Why can’t I make a payment online? You’re a bank and your website has been broken for a whole week?? I don’t want to get stuck in DM hell, I just want to be able to make a payment online. Fix your website.
@ATTHelp I’m trying to find out when someone will be back to put my back yard the way they found it. I’ve got trash and wires and no idea if or when someone is coming to finish the job.
@MomtoEandP That’s amazing! First time they took Abigail off the vent, it was TERRIFYING. But she did well, just like Poppy! I’m so excited at the thought y’all may be able to get rid of that vent soon! Wonderful medical device—annoying to actually live with!
🚨#BREAKING: Tornado sirens are now sounding off as confirmed tornado is on the ground
📌#RollingFork | #Mississippi
At this time Tornado sirens are currently sounding across Rolling Fork, Mississippi, as the national weather service has declared a confirmed tornado is on the ground, potentially causing damage. Local storm chasers and a live traffic camera have observed a long funnel briefly making contact with the ground. Residents in the area should seek shelter immediately.
@noCinErik It’s this way when we go every 6 months for Abigail’s infusions. Seeing kids go through cancer treatments is really tough—can’t imagine how it is for parents.
@MomtoEandP I’ve learned that a good doctor will be hopeful and honest about the future, but a lousy doctor will be overly confident about the future.
Reminds me of the doctor who told us our 5-year old would only live for 2 weeks 😂
@noCinErik It’s not the same, but I remember when the doctors told us Abigail needed a trach because she’d need a vent long term. I wanted nasal cannula to be an option. It was a kick in the face to hear it, for sure.
