Spurs trying to sign both Van Hecke & Senesi, who made 2 of the 3 most line breaking passes completed by CBs in the league this season.
This is a big signal of De Zerbi wanting to implement his usual style of football on #THFC next season (deep build-up then to accelerate up the pitch with up-back-throughs)
He managed to keep Tottenham in the league by simplifying their in possession game whilst having some of the best out of possession pressing & structure I’ve seen from a De Zerbi team.
I’m sure there will be a progression in possession next season with new & returning players.
De Zerbi is the new Spurs coach.
Can he turn their situation around in the short-term, reports suggest he will use a simpler style to keep them in the league so don’t expect to see a lot of his deep build-up with accelerated up, back & throughs until next season ⬇️
🚨 Manchester City see opening bid for Elliot Anderson rejected by Nottingham Forest. Pursuit ongoing. Forest expected to want more for Anderson than £105m Arsenal paid for Declan Rice.
Fees viewed as too high for #MUFC.

For Manchester United’s CM rebuild this summer it will be important to identify 2 or 3 CMs with top second ball winning attributes.
Anderson has to be priority if he does not go to City.
Probably why #MUFC are also looking to sign Ederson with him being relatively affordable.
Across Europe's top five leagues, 5 of the 7 teams with the highest second ball win % ended the season as champions.

CF - Joao Pedro (Chelsea)
Chelsea’s player of the season. Has scaled up to a bigger club well & his injury record has improved. Delap hasn’t had a look in due to Pedro’s form, a well rounded forward who can run beyond, drop short & score all types of goals. 4th in NP goals.
MY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE SEASON 25/26
Been seeing some people make teams of the season that all look fairly similar so thought I would make 1 where I could only pick 1 player from each club.
(I’ve chosen Semenyo as a Bournemouth player not City)

LW - Rogers (Aston Villa)
Had an incredible purple patch in the middle third of the season when Villa were flying. One of the best carriers in the league, could play a big part for England this summer.
MANAGERS
Oliver Glasner & Andoni Iraola are both doing great jobs and will be sought after by the top clubs when looking for a new manager.
Both like to go fairly direct when winning the ball but there are some differences…
Great zoom from @Tactx_ & @Jon_Mackenzie 👏🏽
Will be interesting to see how tomorrow’s CL final plays out to see how it influences the tactical landscape heading into next season.
We are live with @Jon_Mackenzie at 11am (UK time today) to discuss everything football.

Gone with 3 CF’s as if 1 is injured we will need 2 (1+1sub) to play in extra time matches.
