@deltorophoto I’m using my a7iii for at home scans and I think once you get your sharpness dialed in, you should get better results than the lab!

A few quick tips for sharpness:
1. Make sure your film plan and camera are level
2. Use “Focus Settings” the Sony menu to help focus on the grain

@brettkling @fivebelow @NikonUSA The borders don’t say anything but I’ve shot a few rolls of it at 400 with good results and if you’re lucky, you can get up to 10 exposures out of it! However, most of the time I can get 7-8 exposures and the film either has light leaks or is extremely scratched up.

@kodaknic tbh when I come across one with film, I always take a test shot to see if the chemicals are any good. The cameras won’t work without batteries but it at least tells me if the pack is dried out or not.

@kodaknic I found a land camera with part of a pack of Fuji FP-100C left inside at goodwill once and the film surprisingly still worked. As far as getting film for it, you best bets are paying $100 for an expired pack of Fuji FP films or taking a risk with Supersense One Instant film
