It's been over a month since we've had a soaking rain (over quarter inch) in Milwaukee. The last good rainfall was 38 days ago on April 27th. Scattered showers most of tomorrow should end that streak.
Hope is our featured pet today! No dog walking concerns during the day with a mix of sun and clouds and temps warming all the way into the 80s. Comment with your pet photo to be featured soon!
Most of the state is under a Level 1 Marginal Risk for some strong to severe storms Friday with a Level 2 Slight Risk near the Mississippi River. A few of the storms locally could be on the stronger side with gusty wind and small hail but widespread severe weather is not expected
Our biggest rainfall in over a month and a half is on track for Friday through Saturday morning. Rain totals look to range from 0.50-1.50" for most of southeast Wisconsin from Friday morning through midday Saturday.
We are still dry today but scattered showers and storms are likely on Friday from the early morning through the night. We will get some breaks here and there but some storms and times of heavy rain are possible.
It is mild this morning in the 50s and without a lake breeze everyone should reach the mid 80s today! Friday and Saturday drop a bit with clouds and rain then some lake breezes return next week.
Cinder is our featured pet today! Still pretty good sun today and temps warm fast this morning. Most of the day is in the 70s and even some low 80s inland. Comment with your pet photo to be featured soon!
Still very pleasant with low dew points in the 40s today. They start to increase tomorrow but still fairly comfy then things get muggy for the start of the weekend with dew points in the 60s for both Friday and Saturday.
Still a bit of a lake breeze today but highs lakeside in the upper 70s and low 80s inland. Much warmer tomorrow for everyone in the mid to upper 80s then hovering around 80 with storms Friday/Saturday before dropping closer to average next week.
AVOID I-41/US-45 this morning going NORTH. A semi crashed into the wall with debris all over the roads. It has now been CLOSED for a few hours and drive times from the Zoo Interchange to Good Hope are well over an hour.
Another roof open game for the Brewers tonight! Very warm for tailgating and sunny so grab the sunscreen! Tempos don't cool much during the day. Still fairly sunny. Go Brewers!
Definitely a cool start to the day today with everyone in the 40s right now. We warm very fast today and reach highs in the upper 70s and low 80s this afternoon with decent sunshine.
We already know this May was the driest May on record with 0.36" of rain, but it doesn't even make the top list for driest months on record. That top spot belongs to September 1979 with only 0.02" of rain.
Michi is our featured pet today! Lots of sunshine all day with decent temps. Highs lakeside around 70 and warmer inland close to 80. Comment with your pet photo to be featured soon!
Even with the lake breeze today we see highs around 70 lakeside and 5-10 degrees warmer inland. Even warmer tomorrow in the upper 70s lakeside and around 80 inland. Then everyone warms into the 80s for Thursday and close to 80 for the start of the weekend.
Another day with a NE wind today then the "warmer" lake breeze returns tomorrow out of the SE. We finally see the lake breeze go away on Thursday with the wind shifting to the SW.
Even with a NE lake breeze yesterday we still reached into the 70s for most of our lakeside areas, only Racine fell short. Temps should be similar today with highs lakeside around 70 and upper 70s inland.
