A statement from @CEJRyanMcMahon:
“First and foremost, the Micron project is full steam ahead!
It is no secret that President Trump believes he could have negotiated a better deal with respect to the bipartisan CHIPS Act. It has also been repeatedly reported that Micron has already signed a contract with the federal government securing their funding under the CHIPS act.
The bipartisan CHIPS Act has resulted in multiple historic investments being made throughout the country. These investments also represent critical, long overdue investments in an industry that is vital to our national security. Micron being no exception.
The comments made by the President tonight clearly state that he believes any funding that may remain should be reallocated. This does not apply to the Micron project.
Furthermore, my administration has been working cohesively and collaboratively with the Trump administration and their multiple federal agencies to help advance the environmental review. In fact, just yesterday I met with EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin to discuss ways that we can keep the Micron project moving forward and on schedule.
Lastly, it is worth noting that the Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, has previously told lawmakers that the CHIPS act is “an excellent down payment“ to rebuild the sector. At this point any insinuation that funding for the historic investment being made by Micron is in jeopardy is misguided. My administration remains fully confident and committed to executing on this historic national
security project.”

@MoBreezy213@lukeradel@CEJRyanMcMahon As it notes in the screenshot - I also said it was disappointing that you didn’t seem to acknowledge the massive investment the county was making into housing - something previous administrations rarely made investments in to. Ideas instead of partisanship are always welcome!

Ineligible for the NCAA Tournament because of the worst rule in college sports, Le Moyne's women's basketball team has accepted an invitation to play in this year's WNIT. It is LeMoyne's first year as a DI program. https://t.co/vDt2MvCz1j
