Can't wait for May 13. One day after the election, I start training. Six days a week , choreography in the mornings, conditioning at night. Going to be on stage with @chrisbrown and @Usher in August. Wayne the backup dancer. After a year on the trail, wild way to spend a birthday
Hey @elonmusk — let’s make Nebraska the example of how we move past party politics & self-interest. Focus on individual freedom and protecting our neighborhoods. Great neighborhoods build great communities, great communities build great states, and that makes a great country.
🗣️ Current and former state policymakers are calling this discrimination out:
@JustinTWayne: “We got here because of self-interest. [Schools] don’t want to deal with kids who may require a little more work."
@SenConrad: “That’s discrimination, plain and simple...[The] capacity argument just doesn’t hold any water for me...We can’t just throw up our hands and say ‘capacity’ if I move into the district, but that’s what we’re doing right now for kids and families with special needs who want to utilize option enrollment."
Former state senator @LouAnnLinehan says districts shrug off state law because there’s no accountability: “If you get a speeding ticket, you get a fine. If you’re a school and you ignore the rules, so what?”
⚖️ Nebraska school districts are ignoring state law and disproportionately denying transfer applications from students with disabilities.
And let this sink in: in 2023-2024, 40 districts, including @BellevueSchools, denied ONLY students with disabilities while accepting other transfers.
“It’s very disheartening as a parent to try repeatedly to get your child with disabilities accepted into a different school district, and to be told ‘no’ over and over and over again.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Today, let’s embrace gratitude for the journey we've traveled this year—the highs, lows, and everything in between. Reflect on the lessons learned, cherish the moments that warmed your heart, and prepare yourself for the promise of new beginnings.
After this election, it’s clear the Democratic Party needs to re-evaluate its messaging and strategy for both local and national races. I have more thoughts to share, but I’ll hold off until I see if there’s a real interest in having this honest and challenging conversation.
