@BethanyZorn@McKQuarterly All six of those social media skills can be applied anywhere and not just for a CEO. Many people should try to build up a professional image, even if it’s for practice. #LIDC04SP18
@elizabethpeterr I agree with the notion that words have a bigger impact than people think. Sometimes a bad tweet can get people to change change their perspective on the individual. #LIDC04SP18
https://t.co/C6Pf1dMGwE As leaders from all types of industries are joining social media, it is important for them to use it responsibly. One huge takeaway that applies to every context is that words always have a bigger impact than what one thinks. #LIDC04SP18
@tiffthomas_56 Reed Hastings is definitely a man who had an innovative idea and pursued it to make it a reality. Netflix is increasing its profits by creating their own original programming, which is competing with cable television.
@NickLaVecchia95@JJWatt JJ Watt was recently nominated as the Walter Payton Man Of The Year Award for his contributions towards Houston. It is incredible how an athlete was able to raise over $37 million dollars and increase national attention to the issue.
@grant_berrios LeBron is a leader both on and off the court. Not only is he highly respected and viewed as the best player of all time, but he is a family man and a voice for the NBA. Great pick.
Much like what Shimon Peres (2012) said with how leaders start with dreams and imagination, Elon Musk is impacting the future of humanity with his missions from Tesla and SpaceX. I admire Musk for his innovative mind and how Mars can be a realistic goal in sight. #LIDC04SP18 https://t.co/WOkKNtCHEa
As controversial as disruptive change is, it is necessary for society and the world to grow and evolve. Thanks for a great semester! @RUProfMcCormick#DCIM353b
@RUProfMcCormick Just a little clarification about the Storify project: Do you want us to remove the subtitles (Uses&Trends, Disruptive Impact, Predictions) completely for each section or just the numbers?
@yf1421 It is definitely almost the case, as almost everyone around us has either a iPhone, Android, or Samsung smartphone. I am actually surprised phone companies still sell flip phones still. #DCIM353b
@marla_narowski It will be interesting to see how the mainstream population will react to AI's. Of course many people will be freaked out by it, but over time I can see that changing over the course of time due to its productivity. #DCIM353b
@EleanorMcgarvey Online courses are definitely getting more popular, however I much prefer the hybrid courses like this one because you still learn more effectively through face-to-face discussions. #DCIM353b
In the near future, smart glasses will become a trend to experience augmented reality with real time data flow. You will no longer need to wear those heavy headsets. #DCIM353b
Open access academic journals provide free access to their contents, while open source publishing allows people to create and publish all kinds of written work for free. #DCIM353b
