SUNDAY THOUGHTS

So many people fall victim to living a lot of life in their own head. I used to try to play out every scenario in my head, ideas, conversations, etc.

When was the last time you’ve been fully present? When was the last time you’ve been fully certain of something? When was the last time you’ve experienced real peace and joy?

We go on with our lives every day not realizing the operating system is broken and being taken advantage of everyday when your guard is down. The world will program you to keep you from the things of God.

Have an opinion about this, argue about that, work hard, do good things, be successful. We get told these things are “good” and then spend our lives trying to do them from a heart posture of should instead of being.

So we have a bunch of harden hearted people walking around trying to “do good things” to offset their conscious and never truly know the Love of God.

Friend hear me: playing conversations in your head, fantasizing future situations, past situations. These are not things of God. Be here, now, reality, what’s real.
Be present, because it’s HIS presence ❤️

That’s exactly why it’s hard. Your neurobiology creates trends and triggers. The only way to break out of cycles of mental warfare is to call it out for what it is, deception and not reality. Every time I catch myself thinking about things to deep or spiral a bit, i snap back and say “this isn’t real, why am I treating it like it is”.

When you live life in your head for so long, you are no longer are able discern between reality and thoughts.

Break the cycle, call it out and recognize your body is just triggering what’s it’s used to doing. “It’s 9am! Time to start worrying about blah blah blah” it’s a biological cycle as well you have to realize and call out.
