@oliver_oawait@BosniaNTBall The ref didn’t call red on the field. He studied frame by frame slow motion and then decided to. Not the VAR guidelines at all
@jdm2186 That’s not the only difference. Messi is looking at the player when he raked his spikes down his leg. Balogun isn’t even looking at the player and is just trying to land he’s fit after being in the air.
@Unscripted011@HaterReport You are deaf & blind, obviously, and I am sorry for that. Look (or have someone tell you) at Argentina’s side of the bracket please.
@guyfelicella This isn’t a difficult situation to understand. If you “host” the World Cup you will have every game in your country. If you “co-host” a World Cup, there is a possibility you won’t… especially when you are not capable of “hosting” the World Cup on your own.
The World Cup has turned America into a discovery channel for the rest of the world.
And they are not handling it well.
In the best possible way.
Here is what they are discovering:
Free public restrooms. Europeans pay every time.
Free water at every restaurant. Just appears.
Free refills. Coffee. Sodas. Iced tea. Unlimited.
Free chips and salsa before you even order.
Free warm bread with dinner.
Ice in drinks like civilized people.
Air conditioning everywhere. Not a moral debate. A fact.
Parking lots attached to the actual place you are going.
Drive throughs where the food comes to the car while you sit in it.
Ranch dressing by the gallon.
Tex-Mex that cannot be explained only experienced.
Dental care that actually works.
Buccee’s. There are no words for Buccee’s.
Then they found the grocery stores.
Five of them within one mile.
Each one the size of an aircraft hangar.
Burgers. Steaks. Brisket. Ribs. Pulled pork. Lamb. Veal. Every cut of every animal ever domesticated by human civilization available in one refrigerated aisle at ten in the morning on a Tuesday.
The Germans stood in the meat section for forty five minutes.
In silence.
Processing.
They finally understand why we do not have trains.
We have roads wide enough for the cars we actually drive.
Parking lots the size of small European countries.
Airports in every city worth visiting.
Why would we need trains.
The Germans are taking ranch home by the bottle.
The Dutch found queso and briefly lost the ability to speak.
The Japanese are photographing HEB like it is the Louvre.
The Czechs are weeping in West, Texas.
Welcome to America!
The greatest country on earth.
🚨🎙️ Sergio Ramos on the criticism Cristiano Ronaldo receives:
"The criticism and negativity Cristiano Ronaldo gets from some pundits is starting to look personal. Every time Portugal plays, the conversation somehow always comes back to Ronaldo.
Some of these people retired at 35 or 37, yet they constantly question a player who is still competing at the highest level. If it was so easy, why didn't they continue playing themselves?
It sometimes feels like certain people are waiting for Cristiano to fail just so they can blame him and mock him. But what exactly are they mocking? This is a player who has achieved almost everything football can offer. His legacy is already written in the history of the game.
You don't have to like Ronaldo, that's your choice. But you have to respect what he has accomplished. Many of those criticizing him never reached the level he has maintained for over two decades.
What surprises me is that Portugal has many talented players, yet after every game the discussion is always about Ronaldo. If you think he should retire, that's your opinion, but constantly talking about him only shows how important he still is to football.
Cristiano Ronaldo has nothing left to prove. He has earned respect from everyone who loves this sport."
