Just spent 2 days at @ISE_Show. Great introduction from @beesAVbuzz to @datapathltd - Can’t help feeling I missed opportunities in my police career to bring this tech to mainstream. Police budgets too tight? Day to day focus on immediate demand? Both made it hard to experiment.

This morning I put on my uniform for the last time as in a little over 120mins I’ll go code 11 for the last time after 30 years. What was nice was to meet, as I was clearing my locker, 3 new recruits who were wearing their uniform for the first time. #Evolution #JobLikeNoOther

@Vulcan01 @EssexPoliceUK @forduk The RS200 story I know as I spoke to those who were involved but I've never heard of heavily modified XR3i's, in fact, I can't remember seeing any XR3's in use regardless of running gear. We did have XR4x4's which were fantastic. I'll ask someone for you ;)

@Vulcan01 @EssexPoliceUK have had a long relationship with @forduk (HQ'd locally) and were often loaned cars on quite an informal basis. This one got striped up and together with Ford used on the A12 just before being opened. 30 years to the day later I helped set up the current version.
