@cherthedev Apple must have a more micromanagy culture than I always assumed. I work for a different tech giant and they gave everyone a choice: office/remote/hybrid. Classy move.
@cherthedev I find your tweets so enlightening. Apple was my dream job... I worked so hard to get hired there, had a verbal offer and then at the 11th hour they hired someone else. Crushed my soul. Perhaps I dodged a bullet though.
@cherthedev I love to throw questions back to my interviewers & challenge the design challenge, lol. Hasn't always worked out but it has also been the deciding factor in me getting an excellent offer!
@cherthedev Whiteboard sessions are key for UX roles IME. They should be low stress though. It shows how someone problem solves & collabs which is critical in our line of work. I've been on the receiving end of very stressful ones. At least I knew after I def didn't want to work there.
