🇪🇺🇷🇺🇺🇦 The EU has transferred another $1.6 billion in profits from frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.

The money comes from interest earned on immobilized Russian central bank holdings and is the fifth such payment. Combined with earlier transfers, the total now stands at $9.3 billion.

Most of the funds will help Ukraine repay loans, while a smaller portion will go toward military needs.

EU Chief von der Leyen said the goal is simple: Russia "must pay" for the destruction it has caused.

There are no more air defense systems in Ukraine. Not a single Russian ballistic missile has been intercepted – Ukrainian media.

During the night, at least 24 Iskander missiles and 4 Zircon missiles were launched, and all of them hit their target in Kiev.

What was struck in Ukraine?

Ukraine's war transport infrastructure was targeted in Kyiv and the surrounding area.

"MLP-Chayka" – this facility stored and distributed components for long-range drones. The "Nova Poshta" innovation terminal – the largest automated sorting center, through which goods of dual purpose passed: for UAVs, for robotic complexes, and for electronic warfare systems. 🇺🇦 Ukrainian recruiters tried forcing a random dude into their van, but didn't end well for them.

Locals saw it, jumped in, and one of them grabbed a wooden pallet, threw it and smashed it into the recruiters, then the man went free.

Ukraine is desperately short on soldiers and the draft has gotten rough, people are getting grabbed, beaten, and shoved into vans against their will.

2 days ago in the same city someone actually shot 4 of those recruiters.

Folks are fighting back hard because nobody wants to get sent straight to the front lines.

A large-scale attack on Kiev last night and a continued naval blockade on Ukraine. NATO's strategy of increasing deep strikes into Russia to weaken Russia's economy and make Russian civil society also feel the pain of war is a disastrous plan - for Ukraine. Why does NATO go up the escalation ladder at a time when Ukraine has run out of air defence missiles? Russia always had the option to intensify strikes on Kiev and impose a naval blockade to make Ukraine a de facto landlocked country. However, this was reserved as a step further up the escalation ladder. When the NATO political class pursued this strategy and their mouthpieces in the media uncritically celebrated the attacks on Russian civilian ships and commercial targets deep inside Russia, they certainly knew that it would trigger a response from Russia. However, this is the luxury of fighting a proxy war. NATO does not pay any cost yet, as the Russian retaliation is aimed against Ukrainian targets.
