This trip was incredibly refreshing. It reminded me of how I used to feel back when people had manners, weren't offended by everything and actually went out of their way to be helpful. I could get used to feeling that way again. I ❤️ my country; but we've lost our way.

Probably gonna get roasted but just spent 10 days in the US; most of them in Tennessee. The people there- employees, patrons -EVERYONE was so nice! People called out to you kindly in parking lots. "How's the food today?" "Y'all have a blessed day" "Thank you for your grace"

Tennessee has a concealed carry law and I had many conversations with people carrying, including a Minister. Not ONCE did I feel unsafe. I felt safer there after dark than I have in most major Canadian cities I've visited. That makes me sad.
Something needs to give in Canada.

This Thanksgiving was the first good one since I lost my nephew to covid on Thanksgiving 2021. My mom is absolutely thriving with quality care in her LTC facility. We just found out my sisters lung cancer has not metastasized; treatment looks promising. I'm hopeful.

@ChrisCollins506 Regardless of my political view or party choice - I would not be cool to waking up with signage on my lawn (or any other property) that I did not consent to. Actually, it would be a great way to lose my support.

My 71 YO Mom wants to dye her little bit of grey/white hair-Hot pink..electric blue... Something crazy.
After almost dying twice in the last year.. I'm totally going to do it for her. She has NEVER dyed her hair and I'm going to have so much fun doing this with her! ❣️

Going to get bloodwork the other day. Nurse: " head that way and go around the corner"
Me: "I don't want to. I was told fall was there"
Apparently, I thought it was funnier than her.

@KLamrock @HorizonHealthNB The number could be reduced if ALL social workers did their job. (I know many probably do.) I know there has been at least 2 complaints to Minister Greens office in the last 2 months about the only one serving our area.

@DebbieRobichau3 @KLamrock At one point she was told not to ring her bell. And when someone else in the room rang their bell, she was chastised. She had her very first panic attack alone, in a hospital.

@DebbieRobichau3 @KLamrock "I don't have time to sit and feed you, you know. There's people dying down the hall." Mom lost 20 lbs in 5 weeks. Made me promise to let her die in a nursing home and not ever send her back.
