I just built and shipped my first startup.

This is one of the most interesting and important things I’ve done in my life (yes, I mean it!), and here’s why
A while back, I realized AI already knows a vast amount of stuff, but there’s no good way to curate and deliver that knowledge in a way that actually fits the learner. If you could turn that knowledge into something structured, visual, immersive (even stereoscopic), and hands-on, instead of static courses or random videos from people who don’t know you, learning could change completely.
Right now, learning means jumping from one video or book to another just to find the “right” explanation. To understand something new, you need a known reference, and finding that reference is the real drag.
Combine that with what we know from learning psychology (attention, active recall, spaced repetition, etc.), and you unlock a system where anyone can learn almost anything. That’s what education for the future should look like.
That’s what led us to build @Carrelyapp : an AI-powered, social learning platform
The hardest part of building @Carrelyapp wasn’t the code. Yes, there was a lot behind the scenes, preparing for scale, optimizing lookups and indices(my bank card is hooked up to cloud billing ) handling edge cases, all while juggling school and work. Crazy stuff(I do not recommend ). But AI can generate solid code if that’s all you need.
The real challenge was design, and not just visuals. I mean designing the MDA: giving users real agency, building a functional economy, balancing what should cost what, shaping user experience, driving retention, and making sure the product actually delivers value.
We built this product for ourselves, and others like us, who want to learn effectively.
Check it out, I hope you enjoy learning on it.

I’ve quite literally spent my car money on building this startup, so let’s make it worth it, abeg🤣🙏🏽
PS: I made this as short as I possibly could

Still active @Justpetyr ? 🌚
Recorded myself solving today’s LeetCode, “Shortest Distance to Target String in Circular Array”
Kept it slow and beginner-friendly so anyone interested can follow along❤️
PS: I had to step away a few times to handle some things, so I cut those parts out. So it ended up taking like 36 minutes
Feedback welcome, might do more of these idk 👀

saw this pair of pants on tiktok last year and swore that i’d make them. 9 months, ~50k spent, hundreds of stitches, 3 yarn chicken games won, multiple unweaned ends, and several crashouts later, here we are 🤭
i’m not doing this again sha 🙏🏾
