@cultofsasuke You can dismiss the LN. But I’m just stating even in works shippers love to use as proof, Sakura still gets embarrassed when it comes to Sasuke. The only one that did damage control was Jurassic park retsuden where even the writer states it’s her interpretation

The only thing in the novels I hated was Sasuke stating to Naruto that he just wants to be with his family…when in gaiden Sasuke chose the mission no one forced him

@berrybattish This was well worth the read. there is always this off feeling about Sakura, her marriage and how she is drawn sweating looking nervous and tense in gaiden. but she kisses the ground this man walks on when he does the bare minimum, in a way she is happy.

@angiepossible @cultofsasuke gaiden. Sarada asked sakura ever got a kiss. there is a brief moment of disappointment before remembering a forehead poke. The confirmation is at the end, Sakura clearly wants a kiss and Sasuke walks off. It’s kinda sad but people pretend it’s cute not kissing your wife for 10yrs

@xvqthlynezx It’s why it’s so baffling to see even on this site Sakura fans seem a bit delusional. So I do agree they are a majority of children, but there was some full grown women who like the aesthetic and nostalgia of sakura and seeing her grown up with them

@xvqthlynezx I had asked a Sakura fanartist she admits Sakura just represented endurance and never leaving your friends. it’s possible they don’t have a fresh memory of the manga and remember the anime and brief moments. Sakura was just cute and Sasuke was a bad boy. A tale as old as time

@NaruSasuCanonbl I think why that scene was so jarring is because at face value it’s a bit ridiculous and insulting . He did have a crush on her moved on, Sasuke wasn’t trying to get her attention in the first place (lol) but you’re looking at it as “the real triangle was for Sasuke not Sakura”

@NaruSasuCanonbl Him being distant plus the fake confession and being even more focus on Sasuke, would make some sense to not focus on Sakura. But that last was something I do remember that line specifically felt like it came out of nowhere and a bit self centered Of sakura to say

@NaruSasuCanonbl To be fair, and this is more about the author, it seemed like Kishimoto was messing with the idea of narusaku and had to pivot for hinata. I read somewhere Boruto was pushed to him by SJ around the pain arc where Kishimoto was both burned out and (rumor) wanted to end naruto.

TL is so interesting because it can’t tell if I like or hate Sakura so it just hands me pro ship and antis. A fair balance I guess.
