Dear Education, please don't over-complicate this situation. Let teachers offer some enrichment, encourage students to read, & check in on their students! Then let them take care of their own families, elderly parents, food shortages, etc. Don't make us look worse than politicians
I am so proud of my class. We are making it work and my parents are navigating through this with me. We have been face timing, corresponding on seesaw, and everyone is using IXL consistently. I am one lucky teacher.@Hsdist157 @curric_hsdist #whatifdist157 https://t.co/azuVs5eMGe
@RiseUpFdn Trying to maintain a relationship with my kinders is going to be tough. I teach in a very high needs community.I thought sending post cards to them to remind them how much I love them would brighten their day!

Gifted education in the U.S. is too scarce and lacks substance, and that’s especially true for high achieving black and Latino children. A new report blames it on "policies, adult decisions and practices and little to do with students’ academic abilities.” https://t.co/uD7DSQmQqz
