A Gulf Coast native, I've got to spotlight Louisiana's contribution to America's industrial powerhouse era
-the cypress lumber boom in Patterson, Berwick, and Morgan City of the early 1900s. #LouisianaHistory#MAGA#GulfCoastFirst
Atchafalaya Basin held virgin bald cypress stands: trees reaching 120 feet tall, some over 1,000 years old.
Much of that ancient beauty can be witnessed today while tourist and locals cool off at the local "Lake End Park" beach.
Louisiana led U.S. cypress production from 1900-1920, hitting peaks like 1 billion board feet statewide in 1913.
🎭 The response to The Puppet Master was incredible. 🎶
Landry pulls the strings.
The lobbyists pull the strings.
The donors pull the strings.
But there’s one thing they can’t control:
The people of Louisiana.
Tomorrow, we’re releasing a fully remastered edition of The Puppet Master featuring:
🎬 New scenes
🎬 New visuals
🎬 Enhanced storytelling
🎬 An even stronger message
✂️ The strings are about to be cut.
Turn on notifications and stay tuned. 🇺🇸
And yes… I accidentally released an early cut before final editing.
My apologies.
But trust me, the version dropping tomorrow is bigger, sharper, and better in every way.
Louisiana’s future belongs to Louisiana voters.
VOTE FLEMING!
.@fleming4senate
Louisiana, we can feel the momentum building.
At every stop, we’re hearing the same thing: people are ready for a senator who will tell them the truth, keep his word, and fight for them.
I can’t be bought. I can’t be bullied. And I can’t be bossed.
I’ll answer to the people of Louisiana—not the political insiders, not the special interests, and not the Washington crowd.
Early voting starts June 12. The runoff election is June 27.
If you’re ready for a proven conservative who will stand firm and fight for Louisiana values, I ask for your vote.
Let’s win this together.
Journalist Jeff Anderson weighs in on the Louisiana US Senate race. Letlow is simply too woke to represent a conservative state like Louisiana. https://t.co/EUqaWQENiX
@LacagOrg I wonder why Letlow has every lobbyist in the state plotting to elect her as OUR - Senator?
Ask yourself,
Why are state and federal lobbyist so afraid of real Louisiana representation, by a Naval Veteran, a proven MAGA conservative, and family man like Dr. Fleming?
@lbjnola@WGNOtv I remember one late night episode, Dr. Morgus collected a tank of blood juiced from mosquitoes that he had sent to feast on visiting tourists from around Bourbon Street. I think it was channel 4 WWL.

Steen’s out of Abbeville, La vs. Uncle John’s Cane Syrup out of Philadelphia, MS Taste Test
I made biscuits with one hand due to injury, so go easy on me. 😂
Both of these cane syrups are beautiful with deep amber in color, with that perfect thick but clingy viscosity.
Visually and in texture, they’re almost identical. But the moment you taste them, the differences are striking.
Steen’s 100% Pure Cane Syrup brings a rich, deep molasses notes up front with a smooth toffee sweetness. There’s a pleasant fruity brightness on the back end, almost like a hint of dark fruit or prune. It has that traditional sugarcane depth with just a touch of pleasant bitterness that rounds everything out.
Uncle John’s Ribbon Cane Syrup is noticeably different. It shares the warm toffee, but it’s layered with almost a roasted nut and a gentle, fresh grassy note that feels lighter and more complex. It skips the molasses bitterness and fruity finish entirely, leaving a cleaner, almost herbal sweetness.
Don’t get me wrong, both are genuinely delicious and high quality. But if you love that bold, molasses, fruity cane syrup experience, go with Steen’s.
@Punky725 Steen's on a plate with a glob of peanut butter and sop it up with bread; South Louisiana fast food.
Steen's is also the only syrup to use for Popcorn Balls; South Louisiana Halloween.
