@DVLAgovuk And your consumer service is extremely poor! Its impossible to call you and there is no emergency procedures in place - all of you are just responding with general message 'it will take 6-10 weeks and we are trying our best'. Just big mess.

@DVLAgovuk If it's so bad and taking so long to return the documents why are you still taking new applications?! You should stop and process everything what you got so far.
Also, I'm not sure how covid restricions @GOVUK could cause it of they all have been lifted now

@DVLAgovuk And also what can I do to get my passport ealier? Is there any procedure in place for dealing with emergency situations? Can I come to your office and collect my documents in person?

@DVLAgovuk Hi Sue, thank you for your response. Could you please let me know how long it takes just to get ID document/passport back at the moment? Apologise, it just makes me very nervous as I need it back urgently and I couldn't speak to any of your advisers over the phone
