Maria was my fathers sister. I loved my little cousins.
Her husband Louis was murdered in Auschwitz, January 31 in 1943.

@shannara77 @AuschwitzMuseum I do have this foto too in my album. It shows the bride Marie Swartberg- Gosler, (my fathers sister )and the groom Louis Swartberg.
At Louis side is Sara Gosler, (the youngest sister)and at Marie’s side is Louis’s sister Jetta who became a Gosler by marrying Maurice Gosler.

27 January 1939 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Margaretha Beatrice Swartberg, was born in Groningen.

In October 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz with her mother Maria Sara and younger sister Judith Josephine. Most probably they were murdered together in a gas chamber after selection.
