CREDENTIALS OF SANDILE KHUMALO SC
Commissioner Sandile Khumalo's Academic and Professional credentials are simply mindblowing!!! 🙆♀️😭 Knowing this about him, should make lawyers coming before him to represent their clients, to think very carefully about who they are dealing with. In Sesotho we say " ba itukise, ba ipeye hantle". 😂 This video outlines clearly how he earned that seat as a Commissioner alongside Justice Madlanga and Commissioner Sesi Baloyi.
Matriculated at Barnato Park High, studied LLB at former Rand Afrikaans University, now UJ, Diploma in Corporate Law, Diploma in Advanced Banking, went to the Netherlands to do Master of Law in International Business Law at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, one of the prestigious legal academies in Europe, and passed with distinction/Cum Laude.
He came back home, admitted as an Advocate in 2002, joined Duma Nokwe Advocates in Sandton. After 2 years in practice, he was awarded the African Advocate Award, where he went to spend 18 weeks in London, working at the 18 Red Line Chambers and Matrix Chambers in London, working alongside the Queens's Council and members of the British Bench.
Coming back home, he did not chase the often high paying criminal cases, he focused on honing his skills in PENSIONS, RETIREMENT FUNDS, EMPLOYEE BENEFITS, where the real money in this country is hidden. He specialized in Employee Benefits and Pensions law, and built his practice around them. He has served as a Trustee of many Trust Funds that manage Civil Servants Retirement funds, including Alexander Forbes. He teaches Pensions Law on a part time basis to Law students. He has also acted as a Judge in the court of law, written judgements.
We thank you Commissioner for your service to the country. We now understand your passion in the way you handle witnesses that appear before you. 🙏🏽

Watch this horrifying video showing how Nigerian drug lords are abusing girls in #SouthAfrica ... some as young as 6 years old... as sex slaves in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Bloemfontein and other cities by forcing drugs on them.
The video shows how Nigerian drug lords in practically every city in the country bring white girls under their control through forced drug injections and then exploit them as sex slaves in the most unscrupulous ways. Many are trafficked to Israel, Ukrain, Europe, and America.
[MEET A YOUNG ACADEMIC POLICE OFFICER]
Hailing from Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, the 30-year-old Constable (Dr) Lindokuhle Ngcobo is stationed at SAPS Hillbrow and serves in the Crime Prevention Unit, where his responsibilities include monitoring and stabilising crime hotspots, responding to robbery complaints, tracking and apprehending suspects, and participating in intelligence-driven operations.
Constable (Dr) Ngcobo is highly accomplished academically as he holds a PhD in Policy and Development Studies, a Master of Social Science in Public Policy, a Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Social Science degree from University of KwaZulu-Natal.
He represents the power of education, hard work, and dedication to community development. He acquired his PhD in 2025 with thesis topic: “Exploring the lived experiences of women with disabilities and policy response towards mitigating challenges faced during the corona virus pandemic alert levels 5-3: A case study of the City of Johannesburg.
Before joining the Family in Blue, Constable (Dr) Ngcobo worked as a Policy Researcher at the Department of Community Safety, demonstrating his long-standing passion for research and policy development. Seeking a greater challenge and a more direct impact on society, he enrolled in the Basic Policing Development Learning Programme (BPDLP) at the 3 SAI Kimberley Academy, where he was fortunate to be part of Project 10 000’s 2022 intake.
His passion for serving communities and contributing towards a safer South Africa inspired him to join the South African Police Service.
Furthermore, Ngcobo’s research interests align closely with the SAPS mandate, as both are grounded in social justice, human rights, community development, and policy transformation. Reflecting on his decision to join SAPS, Dr Ngcobo explained:
“I believed that working within SAPS would expose me to the real-life social challenges faced by vulnerable communities, including inequality, gender-based violence, disability exclusion, youth crime, and barriers to access to justice.”
Recognising a gap in the integration of technology, research, and innovative community engagement strategies within policing, Constable (Dr) Ngcobo believes that young people can make a significant contribution by introducing digital solutions, research-based interventions, and modern communication approaches that enhance service delivery while strengthening relationships between SAPS and the communities.
This youth month, he encourages young people to consider SAPS as an employer of choice because he believes the organisation offers an opportunity to serve the nation with pride, discipline, and integrity while providing career growth, skills development, leadership opportunities, and a platform to make a meaningful difference in society. It is never too late to achieve goals.
Constable (Dr) Ngcobo set himself the challenge of obtaining a doctorate before the age of 30, and through dedication, he achieved it.
As a man, after you cross 30, sit down and study the patterns in your family. Look at what distracted, delayed, or derailed the men before you. Look at what destroyed them. Your father, his brothers, your uncles, older cousins etc... is it booze, is it gambling, is it women, is it recklessly siring everywhere, is it poor financial decisions, did they struggle with deep anger issues, domestic terrorists, did they practice witchcraft and all that.
Sit down and study those patterns,, then make intentional decisions to break those cycles. Remember some of these things are normal vices. Look for a recurring or deep recognizable patterns that are plastered all over men in your family. What brought them down. Do you see a pattern? Now that!
As Joshua Selman always says “As a man, number one thing that will help you live to your potential is knowing what can bring you down”. And you may not run away from your family tree. Refuse to be a victim of repeated patterns. Because they are there.
Whether you know it or not. Whether you recognize them or you don’t. They exist. They didn’t have the knowledge and resources we now have. Honor your progeny. Break out of them. Be made of Gold.
