I’m 27 & I wouldn’t even date a 20 year old. There’s a HUGE difference in life experience, maturity, and where people are in life at those ages. So please don’t tell me “grown people are gonna do what they want to do,” because honestly, my eyebrow raises at you too😭 To me, it gives weird.
I’m not talking about anybody specific rn. I’m speaking generally. I personally could never see myself in my late 30s, 40s, or 50s pursuing somebody who is 20 or 21. What the fuck are you loving, learning, or connecting over with somebody that young? And let’s keep it a buck: some people would date even closer to 18 or 19 if “teen” wasn’t attached to the age.
Yes, they’re legally adults. But some things are legal and still not something I’ll pursue, nor something I want normalized around me. Just because the age makes something legal does not automatically make it morally correct to me. Period💯‼️
i love that i no longer desire to be in a relationship that shit had me going down a dark path. my peace has been rebuilt & ain’t no annoying ass man ruining it.
A cheating man is bad enough. But you know what's even worse? A man who pretends to be a good person, when in reality he's a pathological liar, a lustful manipulator, and an expert at playing the victim.
The older you get, the more you realise being openly gay isn’t just about coming out once. It’s about deciding, over and over, who gets access to the real version of you.
Learn how to enjoy being alone. Learn how to make yourself enough for you without needing someone by your side. Take yourself on dates, enjoy shopping, walking, and sitting alone. Loneliness isn't bad if you know how to make the best out of it.
