In medieval times there were beliefs that left handed people are sinister, and it was looked down upon for no good reason. So you can have your beliefs, but it's not justified or rational.

It doesn't affect anyone else like cannibalism or rape does, so I don't see how you can compare the two.

As I said before, would you call left handedness as an abnormality? It's an atypical orientation too.
