Fantastic to see Joe Whight at the ground today, his smile illuminating the stadium as usual. Everyone at the club wishes him well as he prepares for Wednesday’s surgery on his torn ACL. 👊🏼
For those who may not have seen the news elsewhere, unfortunately a scan has confirmed the fear that the injury suffered by Joe Whight at Brightlingsea was a torn ACL. Whighty will be undergoing surgery very soon and will miss the remainder of the season as the recovery process is a long one. He has sent his thanks for all the messages he has received and will still be with us supporting the lads through the season. Everyone at the club wishes him all the best and we look forward to seeing him back in red and white ASAP.
