@bluewmist I'd choose 2
Put it into a separate bank account to accumulate interest, but at the same time have it automatically send you 6k a month as ideally that's all I'd need
Interest coming in monthly would be around 0.15%, which is 7500, making a 1500 profit
@VeicaNoriceia@NayfanStinks@BlueTeamJK -- To avoid getting your stuff mixed up, every student gets given a three digit number, and no one can enter the cloak room except said staff members. The cloak room is only open for service at the start of the day, during break/recess & lunch, and at the end of the day.
@VeicaNoriceia@NayfanStinks@BlueTeamJK UK resident here, we have a cloak room to store our jackets and umbrellas. It's literally just a room filled with those wall hooks for clothes, with metal buckets underneath all of them. A staff member does all the work, you give them your stuff and collect them later. --
@theKrabs_11 I'm in the UK too

It depends heavily on what's being measured. If it's the height of a building, then yeah gonna use meters
Height of a PC case? Millimeters
Height of a person? I personally use both, given I have friends that use both, so... I can easily convert the units
@abitunexpected As a kid, even today, I bunny hop in halo 3 because it's fun to jump in games. I don't do it to speed up. The walking speed is the same as your jump speed, so there's no difference.
It's just fun to hop around, even if it doesn't speed you up.
@ShitpostRock Oshit you mean the one published by Atari set in the Transformers Armada series back in 2004? Or is there another Transformers PS2 game?
'cause the Starscream boss music hit so much harder than it needed to
@0AOXO -- because they live in a country that doesn't have PSN? THATS where the game started dying proper. Those countries still don't have access to the game anymore despite the PSN requirements being gone.
@0AOXO The game was slowly bleeding players due to all the balance patches nerfing weapons that were the meta, which fair play, all the weapons should be fun to use and just as viable. Some took it too far.
However, when Sony intervened and forced PSN, and banned a lot of players --
@_Helex_@I_AM_WILDCAT -- was at minimum £799.
For a lot of people in the UK, as most of us have minimum wage jobs, that's around half our monthly pay. Which, we still need a majority of to pay rent if living alone, or up to half of if we have room mates.
Regardless, fans are the way to go over here.
@_Helex_@I_AM_WILDCAT As the other comments said, most homes literally can't get a window unit. And over here they are nowhere near that cheap. When I did research for this when an American friend said the same, the cheapest I found over here was £299. And that was for a portable one. A window unit --

It's not really worth getting for only a couple days a year.
A super cheap alternative is a £5 USB desk fan and a bowl of ice water in front of said desk fan.
The only inconvenience is having to leave the room every couple hours to make/get more ice
@BrandonRTalks As someone who uses Adobe Photoshop 7.0, and who has not consented to their EULA changes since, they cannot legally go after me to force me to "upgrade" to a new subscription that I don't want :)
Fuck that shit, I'm sticking with 7.0, from the early 2000s. It does what I need
@_Hybreed_ We forgetting the intro to the best villain (imo) of all time?
Mf invites all vault hunters for a "job", then blows up the train you're on just to prevent any potential threat to his plans

@tlozbrainrot I mean... There are a couple eras that have the same link in multiple games
OOT/MM for example (and some would count TP because the hero's shade is confirmed to be OOT/MM link)
Wind Waker's aesthetics too being carried through PHG and ST, the latter two having the same link too
@OrdinaryGamers Grew up on playstation games. Loved them. But, after getting a PC? It was jover. I could just preserve the games I had purchased, and play them via emulators whenever I wanted, meaning I didn't need to fill my limited spaced rooms with 5 different consoles and a pc, but only 1 pc
@Mythryn21@SlyPerformer -- so they take up less storage on said disc if needed, and have the console just decompress them.
Compress that 130gb game down to a 90gb game, it is possible.
@Mythryn21@SlyPerformer Given that playstation 5 discs can hold 100 gigs on them, a lot of games shouldn't require to be downloaded via the internet with the physical disc right there.
Yes what I suggest will increase load times, but an extra couple of seconds won't kill you. Compress the games more --
