I attended a local ham club meeting where members showed off their mobile radio installations. First car I looked at had a GMRS power amplifier installed. Perhaps I’m wrong, but doesn’t Part 95 prohibit the use of amps or booster for GMRS radios? Disappointing. #gmrs #part95

I watched a handful of dxpedition documentaries over the weekend, and several incorporated music suitable for stories of great conquest and adventure. Dxpeditions are great, and I’d love to go on one, but we need to keep things in perspective.
