🚨OTEDOLA GAS EXPLOSION
Today marks exactly one year since we lost Mr Rotimi Olaleye to the horrific gas explosion caused by Second Coming Gas Nigeria Ltd at Otedola bridge.

Today, I joined the Nigeria Skills Accelerator Strategic Roundtable, jointly hosted by the World Economic Forum and the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, ably led by my colleague, Honourable Minister Dr. Jumoke Oduwole.
The Roundtable brought together industry leaders, government officials, and development partners to accelerate one shared goal — building a workforce equipped for the future.
In my remarks, I reaffirmed that our mission in the education sector is to move from policy to productivity. Through initiatives like the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE), supported by the World Bank, we have expanded access to education for millions of girls. The next phase focuses on digital, technical, and entrepreneurial training to prepare our young women — and indeed all our youth — for the modern economy.
Our Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) reform remains central to this vision. Across the country, we are upgrading technical colleges, modernising curricula to meet industry standards, and establishing new partnerships that connect training directly to employment opportunities. We are also ensuring inclusion, with accessible TVET centres and adaptive technologies for persons with disabilities.
As I said at the Roundtable, Nigeria stands at a crossroads. The Nigeria Skills Accelerator is a bold call to action — uniting government, industry, academia, and our development partners in a common mission: to make Nigeria a global hub for skilled talent and innovation.
Together, through education, training, and unwavering partnership, we can empower the future.

@NYSC_FOR_ALL @DrTunjiAlausa Dear Hon. @DrTunjiAlausa is the Jamb Registrar bigger than your verdict on the ND PT/HND FT issue. At today’s workshop He was invited by the NYSC for reasons we don’t know and no positive support from him. Despite dropping & reuploading of our names. We’re still being excluded.
