@StarkMaximum@Sajam After the announcement we didn't hear anything for another 4 years. The hype died out.
Then what got released was the most barebones experience possible with 10 characters in a tag fighter packed full of obscenely degenerate shit.
Complete mismanagement start to finish.
@StarkMaximum@Sajam Problem is that they had 8 years to get the game in a workable state. Both the Canon brothers have said that Riot was extremely hands-off through the entire process.
Project L was announced in 2019 and had likely been in the works for at least a year or two before that.
@KdeKercy The Mako sections (before the remaster) were notoriously bad.
Gunplay, especially at the lower level equipment, didn't feel particularly good. How certain abilities meshed weren't super clear either - combos became much more legible in ME2.
It's mostly nitpicks honestly lol
@KdeKercy 3 clears the other two games from a pure gameplay perspective by head and shoulders. BioWare had the combat loop honed to a razor's edge in 3. Story was still mostly great up until the veeeeeeeery end.
To this day I do not envy the writers that had to try and figure that out.
@KdeKercy 2 I think struck the best middle ground between gameplay and story. I don't think the trilogy as a whole has many badly written characters, but 2 as a whole is the strongest in that regard imo. BioWare really started to nail the gameplay loop as a bonus.
@Beezith@BTRowland@hawksfan3344 Brother his physicals are identical to Zuby.
Same wingspan, whopping 3" difference in standing reach. Zuby is a better athlete than Veesaar too.
@Larry5Shot@WilliamsLaurenL It absolutely is not.
The Heat threw everything and the kitchen sink at Trae to stop him and him entirely.
New York guarded Jalen straight up man to man. He was completely passive the entire series.
