@JackMac@jibrantsworld So what's your opinion on player's who get NIL deals not getting scholarships and having to pay their own tuition. And giving scholarships to student athletes who are making millions?
@IvoryHecker I think it's a good move because it puts pressure on Johnson to actually get stuff done. And a way to know if he's really on board for the MAGA agenda.
1. Yes. Salvation is obtained through faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:4-10 KJVAE
[4] But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, [5] even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) [6] and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: [7] that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace, in his kindness toward us, through Christ Jesus. [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] not of works, lest any man should boast. [10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
2. It saves and it teaches
Titus 2:11-14 KJVAE
[11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12] teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; [13] looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [14] who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Here's not only the definition but the root word in Greek. Here's some scriptural references for the meaning of the word in the context of scripture.
Galatians 3:19-22 KJVAE
[19] Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. [20] Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. [21] Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. [22] But the Scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Because we're all in sin and have violated God's law. Jesus is the only person qualified to be a mediator between God and man.
1 Timothy 2:5-6 KJVAE
[5] For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; [6] who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. This same idea is expressed in Hebrews 8,9,12
@Reuters And ya'll probably are still wondering why no one takes you seriously. I'm old enough to remember when @Reuters was a legitimate source for news and information. Aww those were the days
@wendelltalks Yes, he's absolutely correct. Salvation is 100% of God. The only thing we bring is our sin.
The reason we can't lose our salvation is because we didn't earn it to begin with. People who think they can lose their salvation don't understand the forgiveness of sins
@gonefishin1948 Neither looks more like real worship than the other. But I bet they Spirit of God is moving more in the picture on the left. The picture on the right is more like white washed tombs full of dead bones.
@brysongray If you had a good steak properly cooked(medium rare), you wouldn't need to put A1 on it. Also, you're at Waffle House, and there's no waffles or hashbrowns. When did you become a communist?
@Riley_Gaines_ I respect your right to be wrong. Mashed potatoes are the best. They make great leftovers. Potato cakes are even better. God bless and Happy Thanksgiving
I don't believe it does refute the "vipers in diapers" quote. In fact, it confirms it. Because the reason the Bible says to train up a child in the ways they should go. Is because their natural inclination is to go in the ways they shouldn't go. I have a 4 year old daughter. And we didn't have to teach her to be mean or selfish. Because she knew to do those on her own. We had to teach her to share and be kind.
