Alhamdulillah, but I’m just a little bit afraid if I’ve hurt his ego. I wrote a side comment saying that I love that I was able to advise him and that he doesn’t have a phat ego like some of our elders and that he is able to take on advise but Allahu A’lam … I hope he still♥️me

I just did something so difficult.

I love my brother to bits and I had to give him some advise because it didn’t sit well with me.

The reason why it was so hard because in my culture when someone younger than you advises you with sincercity it’s usually not taken well and

instead, it is met with phrases like “who are you to teach me” “have some respect, I’m older than you” “oh so you’ve got a degree now and you think you’re all high and mighty” and the list goes on.

Subhan’Allah like my brother took the advise on SO FAST and just acted on it.

"How long will you keep making duʿā,
without any response?"

Then say to him:
"I worship Allah with my duʿā."
