but there’s multiple types of blaccents due to the area you’re from. there’s los angeles, new york and atlanta etc. which is a part of the problem, when he’s using it. you’re not from any of those places, you didn’t grow up around those areas. so it sounds like mockery.

juhoon, keonho and james never used a blaccent, what they have used is aave which is not a problem unless they were misusing it. meanwhile seonghyeon (sometimes) and martin uses a blaccent which can come off as mockery because the cadence is from black people.

here’s my thing with martin and the blaccent, it’s not just him. it’s the entire group that needs to be called out but since martin is the face of the group he gets dragged the most unfortunately + we know how kpop stan’s drag english speaking (also mixed idols) the most.
