@LBFlyawayhome Beautiful book. Read hundreds of times as a child. 🥰 But I could never understand why, when the princess was on the doorstep soaking wet, the water ran "in at her toes and out at her heels. " I've always thought that's the wrong way round!! I'm imagining princess stilettos, obv!

@LBFlyawayhome Why don't they make illustrations like this anymore? I've remembered these Ladybird books for 50 years. Feels like we're short changing the new generation.
