If you want to help anti-trafficking efforts, there are better ways than lining the pockets of self-aggrandizing vigilantes. Instead, support trustworthy organizations that help victims with aftercare/rehabilitation, or that educate and protect at-risk youth from becoming victims

Numerous anti-trafficking experts (as well as former “operatives” who had worked with this group) have spoken out over the years about the harm that has been done and the dishonesty of the group.

I can’t wrap my head around the fact that thousands of people watch a video of someone who is very clearly hurting deeply, and their first thought is to make fun of her. Or to wish further harm on her. Human empathy truly is atrophying.
