I spoke to someone this today and when I them to cancel my contract and I would set up a new account via another household member they were able to decrease my bill by over £20 a month… shouldn’t have taken 2hrs on the phone to sort though! Prices should be fair and honest!

Interesting offer from @virginmedia … quoted a price over the phone, phone back to take them up on the offer and it’s gone up £20 a month - apparently the deal has expired even though its clearly available online?!

As if it’s not painful enough to pay for you energy bills I’ve had to pay over £16 to be on hold to @ScottishPower for 90 minutes to report a faulty smart meter. 6 weeks still have no idea when this will be addressed. @MartinSLewis surely we need free contacts in these cases?!

@thameswater@thameswater This is a problem that has been reported multiple times by multiple residents! This is the 4th occurrence in less then 2 weeks but this has been going on years! I shall of course PM you but this needs to be resolved for the long term as a matter of urgency.
Absolutely disgusting. How in 2021 this issue is able to be a regular occurrence with local residents finding sanitary waste in their gardens every time it rains! @thameswater@RBKingston
@MartinSLewis That said, my parents played their part. Having a a fixed monthly pocket money I learned how to budget for everyday and save for treats from age of 10 skills that I still use and apply today!
@MartinSLewis I’ve never applied Pythagorus theory or simultaneous equations since my GCSEs, yet knowing how to manage my finances gives me some stability and security and I believe will in turn aid mental well-being. I wish I learnt this useful skill at school. Thank you @MartinSLewis
Bitterly disappointed with the repsonse from @Apple about a known iPhone XR issue. Despite phone still being in warrenty they can’t offer a solution that leaves my mum with a working phone. 😡😡
I had a ‘supercalifragilisticexpialidocious‘ night taking a rather large group to see @MaryPoppins. Thank you to all the @DMTWestEnd team who in some way took such great care of me and my group. The show was ‘Practically Perfect’ in every way!
