لقد كان الراحل شخصية قيادية بارزة أسهمت في نهضة دولة قطر وتعزيز دورها على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي، وستبقى جهوده وإسهاماته محل تقدير واحترام.

This evening, President Nechirvan Barzani received the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Star of Italy, the highest rank of one of Italy’s foremost honours, presented by Ambassador Niccolò Fontana on behalf of President Sergio Mattarella.

A recognition of years of deepening partnership between the Kurdistan Region and Italy, from the battlefield against ISIS to today’s growing cooperation in trade, energy, and culture.
