I’m sporting the “cone of shame” after a little accident during training. Nothing too serious. I hurt my paw while trying to find the correct explosive odor on two new scent wheels the State Patrol recently bought. I’ll be back in action in no time!

K-9 Keno is hanging up his leash after 5 years of service. He started in the Thief River Falls District before being assigned to Trp. Tyler Iverson in the Detroit Lakes District in 2019. Keno sniffed out hundreds of pounds of illegal narcotics during his career. Congrats, Keno!

Thirty-five new troopers took the oath today during a graduation ceremony for the 65th Training Academy. Welcome to the State Patrol and thank you for your service!

Our State Patrol drug K-9 teams completed their annual certification and training in Mankato this week. The teams searched for hidden drugs in a semi-trailer, in luggage and on buses. All of the MSP K-9 teams passed without missing anything!

I work high and low to keep the Capitol complex safe. Look how cool and calm I am up on this ledge – not even a little afraid!!!
